calendarWe operate an appointments system called Advanced Access.  Appointments can be made by telephone or at the Health Centre during opening times.  We have a fully trained staff who deal with enquiries.  They will offer a range of services.  This includes:

  • Same day appointments (to help with new illnesses)
  • Pre-bookable appointments (to meet with your usual doctor, when you are both available)
  • Telephone consultations (to ask the doctor about an on-going problem or query)
  • Nurse practitioner appointments (a new minor illness)

If you need to see a doctor urgently you will be advised to see our duty practitioners.

The practice operates a computerised appointment system. To ensure the doctor knows that you have arrived for your appointment you MUST check in at reception.

These will be dealt with promptly. Telephone (01346) 518088 and give as much information to the receptionist who will relate the details to the duty doctor.

Minor Illness Service

The Minor Illness Clinic is an appointment based service provided by nurses who have additional training in dealing with conditions such as coughs, colds, sore throats, rashes, diarrhoea and vomiting.

Telephone: (01346) 518088

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

If you arrive late for your appointment then you may be asked to make another appointment.
